A family-owned 3.4 Billion USD business needed to reignite their brand’s progress on environmental goals and develop an enterprise-wide strategy across their subsidiaries. We oversaw the company’s first greenhouse gas inventory across all businesses and all scopes 1, 2 and 3, and supported a Senior Steering team in the development of a strategy to reduce emissions across product development, energy use and transportation. The result was an approved Science-Based Target initiative (SBTi) target and an internal narrative to drive change with employees across the organization.

A confectionary brand needed to evolve its brand strategy to incorporate a wider purpose to better connect with today’s modern consumer. We guided the brand team through immersive ethnographic research in five markets, and led two interactive workshops. The result was multi-market alignment on a powerful new purpose strategy that enabled the brand to tackle a societal issue in a meaningful way that’s rooted in the product truth.

IDH Sustainable Trade Initiative were tasked by their donors, such as the Gates Foundation, to ensure there was a balance in the allocation of financial support and resources to farmers in the global south between male and female farmers. In our work together, we helped the organization better understand the challenges faced by female farmers and align on an action plan to create prosperity and change.

Travois
Travois raises capital for affordable housing and economic development exclusively for American Indian, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian communities. The company sought to diversify funding sources and sought B-Corporation certification as a third party accreditation for their social and environmental impact. We helped them certify in 2019, achieving a Best of the World score of 134, (the base is a score of 80). In 2022 we helped them recertify, updating policies and procedures to improve their score to 139.1.
